Keds

Keds has been a beloved American brand since 1916. I had the privilege of being a custodian of this iconic brand in the kid’s space through several senior leadership and brand directional changes, keeping the kid’s product line on a consistent path under my leadership. We believed Keds could take on a unique personality in kids while aligning with the evolving brand DNA and core franchises. We added whimsey, versatility, and numerous collabs that ran the gamut from Kate Spade to Barbie.

This resulted in a $12 million business comprised of primarily kid-only SKUs before the brand was sold to Designer Brands Incorporated (DBI) in 2023.
